If you woke up today, you are one day older which means you are aging. Aging is an inevitable part of life and we should all celebrate that we are aging because the alternative is death! The problem is, because of our fast-paced lifestyles, unhealthy diets, poor digestion, and constant exposure to the environment we are aging much faster than our chronological years imply. The fact is, we put much more wear and tear on our bodies compared to the nutritional support we give them to heal, repair and recover. What is aging?

As you get older, several physical changes occur that effect your health. Muscle mass usually decreases, metabolism slows down, and your body is not able to repair and replace damaged cells or tissues as efficiently as it once did. Hormone production decreases affecting libido, stamina, memory, and concentration to name a few. When such irreparable damage occurs to your cells, one of three things usually happens. First, the cell might die on its own and/or it is eliminated by your immune system. Secondly, the damaged cell might replicate producing similar mal-functioning cells. Or third, and very often, the cell will simply not be able to perform the functions for which it was designed. When cells are dying faster than they can repair or be replaced, this is when you see the signs of aging.
